Why are there hurricanes in Florida?

Because warm and wet air rises in a spiral and goes faster and faster- over 160 km an hour. when the hurricanes hit Florida, people there had to leave homes and move to other towns and wait. a lot of people were killed in hurricanes and more then 50.000 people had nowhere to live.
